The Jackson County girls soccer team outlasted Loganville in penalty kicks to earn a 4-3 win over Friday night (March 28) in a key Region 8-AAAAA matchup. Jackson County is now 8-4 overall but a perfect 4-0 in region play.
Anabella Moron, Isabella Parpart Shackelford and Caitlan Collins scored goals in regulation while Finley Lancaster had two assists and Aliyah Haney with one.

Prior to beating Loganville, Jackson County earned its sixth shutout of the season March 25 with a 5-0 win over Seckinger.
Finley Lancaster scored a pair of goals in the non-region win over Seckinger Tuesday night, while Maddie Vanchiasong, Isabella Parpart Shackelford and Caitlan Collins each scored a goal. Collins led the team with three assists with Lancaster dishing out the other two assists.
