Kosovo's premier accuses Serbia of interfering in general elections
(MENAFN) On Sunday, Kosovo’s premier suspected Serbia of openly interfering in the nation’s new general elections.
The intervention of Serbia in the elections was a hit on Kosovo’s democracy as well as authority, Albin Kurti informed a news conference with Nenad Rasic, Kosovo’s Minister for communities and returns.
Serbian Leader Aleksandar Vucic motivated all Serbian state as well as non-state parties involved to intrude in Kosovo's Feb. 9 elections, Kurti stated.
"This intervention affected the election of Serbian and non-Serb community lawmakers, causing them to be fully under the control of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, his government, intelligence services, and organized crime networks," he also mentioned.
Kurti additionally stated that Serbia's state system had achieved outstanding attempts to push and warn opponent Serbian groups, such as the Serbian List party, as well as voters from the Roma and Ashkali groups.
"Our institutions have evidence about these incidents, but for the privacy and safety of Serbian citizens, it is not appropriate to disclose this evidence to the public," he added.
